THE MVKVRI CLUB is a Muslim-Palestinian owned, streetwear brand based out of Chicago, IL. We are passionate about bringing high quality hoodies, crewnecks, joggers and shirts, top-tier designs, at an affordable price while donating 10% of our revenue to charity.
We are the official sponsors of The Ummah Project. The Ummah Project is a non-profit that looks for ways to provide humanitarian causes to the East African region of Tanzania and Zanzibar. They do things like make water wells, build religious institutions, food packages, schools, and so much more. For every product we sell, The Ummah Project gets donated 10% of our revenue.
Let’s break down the logo first; MVKVRI is supposed to be pronounced muh-car-ree, which means “Blessed” in Greek. Our slogan is “Count Your Blessings” and we chose that because whenever you feel down and feel like you got nothing, this is a reminder to count your blessings. You can make the list and I promise you that you can't get every possible blessing in your life. The quote on the back is from the Holy Islamic book, the Quran. In majority of religious scriptures, there is a similar quote/saying making this design not specifically for one religion. This design, we really wanted to tap in with our Middle Eastern roots, while still maintaining a beautiful design. Hope you enjoy!
It started with an a dream of starting a clothing brand I could call my own and a quick text to the OT group chat. 10 months later, we started our first pre-order. We are just getting started, so thank you so much for starting this journey with us. To the left is our very first logo; (We rebranded a few times!)
